Derrick Dodge Barr Ryder Architects & Interior Designers were retained in conjunction with PCL Construction to carry out the programming, design and construction of a major vehicle sales and repair facility located in south Edmonton. The intent of the facility was to assist a growing vehicle operation, Derrick Dodge, in developing a sales and repair maintenance facility for their expanding truck sales fleet. The program included: • Indoor Sales Showroom The design was developed to accommodate a highly sophisticated image for this stand-alone facility. At the same time, the design is reminiscent of the nearby vehicle sales facility to retain an overall corporate image for Derrick Dodge. The colour selection is intended to be bright and attractive, enhancing the image of truck purchase and acting as a signpost for travelers on the Calgary Trail in south Edmonton. |
